Pancreatic Cancer

The pancreatic cancer is a disease which is quite severe and difficult to treat . The risk of developing pancreatic cancer is much higher in men than in women . At the same time, people who smoke, consume alcohol and have an irregular life are more likely to develop pancreatic cancer compared to other people .

It is known as an insidious disease. Its symptoms may not appear immediately. It is a type of cancer that is difficult to diagnose early. It usually manifests itself with loss of appetite and fatigue. These symptoms may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Another condition which can be included in the symptoms of pancreatic cancer is jaundice. If the disease blocks bile duct, the patient contracts jaundice. One of the symptoms of pancreatic cancer is known as low blood glucose.

Treatment process changes according to the stage of the cancer in the patient. Treatment methods of pancreatic cancer include surgery, radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
