Cardiac MR

MR is a very old procedure that can display internal organs and tissues in a clear and detailed manner. However, its use in cardiology has improved in recent years.

MR uses radio waves and a strong magnetic field, instead of X-rays. It is an imaging method that reveals structure of cardiac membrane, ventricles, valves, heart muscle, great arteries coming out of the heart without the need for administering any drug or performing any procedure. The procedure takes about 45 minutes.
