Pneumonia

Pneumonia is a dangerous lung disease with manifestation of pain, fever and cough. The disease develops in lungs as inflammation and is caused by microorganisms such as bacteria or fungi.

Symptoms of Pneumonia
Its most obvious symptoms include fatigue, pain, high fever, and cough. In addition, symptoms such as decreased appetite and weight loss, drowsiness, dizziness, severe headache and sore throat, phlegm, excessive thirst, dry and white tongue can be seen.

Types of Pneumonia
Lobar Pneumonia: It is a type of pneumonia caused by a germ called pneumococcus. Extreme fatigue, colds or staying in the sun for a long time prepare the ground for disease. Disease begins with sudden headache, chills, vomiting, and back pain. Fever rises up to 40 degrees. Cough, is short-lived. Sputum is bloody and sticky. Patient has a flushed face, lips swollen on the outer edges, dry skin and coated tongue.

Virus Pneumonia: It is a kind of pneumonia caused by viruses. It develops either suddenly or at the end of a cold. The patient feels extremely tired. His cough is dry but productive. He also has pains in his arms and legs.

Bronchopneumonia : It is a disease that emerges after a cold, whooping cough, bronchitis or measles, which hasn't been treated well. It is caused by spread inflammation of lungs and bronchi. The disease starts as bronchitis; if measures are not taken, it gets worse within 2-3 days. The patient has cough, purulent and bloody sputum. He is sluggish and pale in color and has difficulty in breathing.
