The endoscope is a thin tube with a camera on its tip. The image of surgical site is transmitted to a television by this camera. Thus, it is possible to perform the surgery by closed method with the help of the image on the screen by making incisions much smaller than normal ones.
The most commonly used areas in plastic surgery are forehead lift and eyebrow lift. Apart from this, it is commonly used as a method for facelift. Endoscopic methods are also preferred in some breast enlargement techniques.
