TAVI method is applied during advanced age when surgical valve replacement operation risk is high. TAVI is applied by collaboration of interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, echocardiography, and anesthesiology teams.

In TAVI method, under general anesthesia, a replacement valve is placed inside a stent sheath and when the stent is opened, the valve is securely fixed to and placed in the area of replacement.
