Kidney Cancer

Kidney cancer usually occurs between the ages of 50 and 70. It is 2-3 times more common in men than in women. The cause of kidney cancer is not yet fully known. However, factors such as smoking, genetic factors, high blood pressure, obesity, occupational risk factors (equate industry, oil, cadmium, lead industry employees) and radiation exposure increase the risk.

Kidney cancers do not give many symptoms at the beginning. However, as the tumour progresses, symptoms such as blood, pain, loss of appetite, weight loss, recurrence high fever, high blood pressure and anemia appear in the urine.

Surgery constitutes the main treatment in kidney tumour. Radiotherapy can be applied in support of surgery.
